We stayed in Airidh an Dobhrain in the last week of September. Lovely warm and comfortable cottage, well equipped kitchen, good quality furnishings and the best shower ever in the bathroom! We have an electric car and having a charging point at the cottage was a big advantage. The garden of the cottage is beautiful although too cold to sit out in while we were there. There are fresh herbs to pick and even in September there was lots of colour. Ian has put a lot of thought and work into the garden. The cottage location gives easy access to North and South Uist and Benbecula. There is fantastic wildlife in the Uists - white tailed and golden eagles, hen harriers, short eared owls, waders and otters. We wanted to return in 2023 but the week we were looking for is already booked. However we are going to Uist Cottages other cottage in North Uist and I’m sure it will be every bit as special!
