Am Bliochan

Am Bliochan sits in the quiet township of Paiblesgarry on North Uist's west coast, a cottage converted from an old barn. The name comes from the Gaelic for bog asphodel, a native flower that grows nearby and sends up spikes of bright yellow in summer.
