These are the terms of service for the uist.com Facebook app. The site-wide terms are at uist.com/terms.

1. Operator

The uist.com Facebook app is operated by Oliver & Dominik Doyle Enterprises ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of uist.com. By using the app, viewing posts it publishes, or publishing a listing on uist.com that may be shared to Facebook, you agree to these terms.

2. What the app does

The app publishes a public link on the official uist.com Facebook Page when a new accommodation listing or local business is published on uist.com. It uses a Facebook Page access token. It does not offer Facebook Login and it does not let anyone sign in with Facebook.

3. Your content

If you publish a listing or business on uist.com, you already grant us a licence to display that public content under the site terms. That licence includes posting the public name, summary and URL to the uist.com Facebook Page. We do not post private account emails, phone numbers or login details.

You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of that content. We may remove a Facebook post or a uist.com listing if it breaches these terms or the site terms.

4. Facebook / Meta

Use of Facebook is also subject to Meta's terms and Meta's privacy policy. We are not responsible for Facebook's availability, algorithms, or how Meta shows or stores Page posts.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the app or ask us to post content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights.

6. No warranty

The app is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that a listing will be posted to Facebook, that a post will remain visible, or that Facebook will deliver it to any particular audience.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the app or from Facebook posts about uist.com listings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Scots law.

8. Privacy

How the app handles data is explained in the Facebook app privacy policy. Deletion requests: uist.com/privacy/facebook#deletion.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page is the latest revision.
